Bike-A-Palooza

Bonelli is THIS SUNDAY!!!!!! Calm down, relax. So to prepare I've focused on rounding out my game. And by rounding out, I mean only biking.

I found this nice long (for me) bike trail with very smooth streets in the back roads of Riverside, CA. It goes on for miles. It is all straight, just a down and back that make your total route a little over 14 miles. As you can see from the pictures there are no real hills but the over all ride is uphill. The total climb is 2200 ft! It doesn't feel like it.

Especially since all you see are palm trees and orange fields. Oh, and then there are the mansions. Big estates with lakes in the front yard and swimming pools and tennis courts in the back.

This is a beautiful ride through Riverside. And if ANYONE is interested in taking a ride with me on a Saturday morning, just let me know. With one exception, next Sat I'm planning a ride from Corona to Newport. If anyone wants in on that one, we'll start in the morning and have lunch in Newport or Huntington Beach. If you're interested let me know so we can work out the logistics. I'm not doing a round trip. I'm not IRON, so I'll be dropped off at the start and picked up at the end. For the hardcore, you are welcome to it.

Nice ride, TV! That's some serious elevation. Hard to find out there in your neck of the woods? Good luck on your first sprint of the season. Knock'em dead in the run, partner ;-)

Looks like a beautiful ride. Have fun biking. Our duathlon was postponed here due to the cold weather we have been receiving.
