The Fish is making a come back!

Well a little recap, I said before that I'll be happy if I could sustain 100 @ 1:45-1:50 pace. A little revision is in order. Tonight I just did 1000 (10 x 100 yrds) in 19:00. Thats whole 3:15 minutes faster than the last time I swam 1K!!! Which breaks down to a 1:54 per 100 yard pace. Not bad I say. I only hope that the other people in the pool don't drown in the whirlpools (ahh, now we see where I get the nickname Vortex) I create. You know that the Shark Swim is coming up on June 10th. You know the one, swim from THE ROCK to shore. 1.5 miles of bay area coldness...and coolness. But I found out that a buddy of mine and his sister will be doing it this year. AND he will have his own place there this summer so accommodation's are taken care of. I running out of excuses not to do this awesome event. For a swimming nut...this would totally geek me out.

Nice swim, TV!! I got to work on cutting my break in between laps to build my endurance. 1:54 is impressive. Swim the sharks indeed!!

great job!

swimming in the SF bay is awesome....don't worry about sharks in the bay, just worry about the sharks if you go under the Golden Gate!

Wow: that SF Bay swim sounds fascinating. Perhaps I'll put that on my agenda some year. Good luck to you!

And great job to you on your persistent butt-kicking in the pool. Great swim... I'm so glad you don't have a Flipper in your pool.
