Is it 2009 already?

Here are the official graphs for 2008. Thanks 623!

PS. Why is it that I can run for a few miles, bike for miles, and swim forever...but when it comes to the elliptical machine I'm dead in 25 minutes?

June - A Month in Review

Here's is what June looked like for me. As you can see...no yellow, that means no running. I know, I know. It was an extremely slow training month for me. Only made time on the weekends.

Time to rectify the situation, Friday I went in for a 3 mile run at the gym. On the tread mil set to an incline = 2. Legs felt good, but my cardio has definitely slipped a little. I'll be working on it though. I have a 16 mile ride planned for this weekend with TriChef.

May - A Month In Review

Welcome to a new segment on my show, a month in review. This is where is dish to myself what I dish out to others.

(Purple = Swim, Green = Bike, Yellow = Run)
No, that is not a mistake. I didn't even ride the last week in May. This foot thing is really getting annoying. I think its my shoes. Every chance I got I wore my sandals after work and class and they felt a little better. I don't know if this is really a problem or a psychosomatic response of us triathletes to buy more gear. What a great excuse that is...Hey my "body" is telling me to buy more stuff.

Well this month is going to be different or at least back to the usual workouts. Let's see how this works out this month. I'm heading over to the gym tonight to get back on the dreadmil. I'm thinking about a mini-brick tomorrow, and definitely a ride with TriChef on Saturday morning.

PS. For those of you near the Inland Empire or even just interested in an interesting Bike or Run...On June 23rd they will be opening up the 210 Freeway for recreational activities and events. There's going to be a 5K Run, 5 & 10 Fun Bike Ride, and some other events. Here is the link (http://www.playonthe210.org/). I'll be there, I mean come on...how many times have you biked ON the Freeway.
